Your VoIP supplier will be able to talk you through the options available, and the beauty of VoIP call plans is their flexibility, allowing you to change your call plan package as your needs alter.
As long as you have a good broadband connection of the right minimum speed, it is then simply a matter of incorporating a router and VoIP handset into your existing Internet connection, or, if you want to keep your original handset, fitting an adapter. If you opt for a call plan package, your VoIP provider will often provide routers, handsets or adapters as part of the package or at a reduced rate.
Once your system has been set up, you can then make calls as you would with a normal landline based system. The difference, however, becomes apparent when you realise how much money you are saving if you make regular international calls. Instead of a hefty phone bill putting a dent in your budget every month, you pay a simple monthly fee and benefit from cheap international calls.
